Meet the men and women that make up our team at Tri-City Baptist Church.

Senior Pastor

Tim Barr

Tim is a graduate of Northland International University with a BA in Biblical Languages. He then completed an M.Div. at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He also earned a D.Min. with an emphasis on Expositing Old Testament Narrative at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He pastored at First Baptist Church in Adrian, MN for 15 years. During that time, he also helped plant Lakefield Baptist Church, MN. He came to Tri-City Baptist Church in July of 2017 as the Senior Pastor. He has been a board member for a variety of associations. He is the director of Tri-City Baptist Missions and serves as an adjunct professor at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. His preaching reflects careful study and exegesis of the Bible along with practical applications of the text for our congregation. Tim and his wife, Elayna, have four children.

Worship & Counseling Pastor

Allen Probus

Allen graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.M. in Cello Performance. He went on to the Cleveland Institute of Music where he earned an M.M. in Cello Performance. While there, he attended Grace Church of Mentor in Mentor, OH where he became a Music Director for the first time. He then joined the Kansas City Symphony where he continues as a cellist, and he became a member of Tri-City Baptist Church. After eight years as a church musician, he accepted the Music Director position at Tri-City which he held for seven years. He was ordained as a Worship Pastor in February of 2018, and he continues to serve in this role. He is currently working on a M. Div. in biblical counseling at Bob Jones Seminary. Allen and his wife, Andrea, have nine children.

Edification Pastor

Matt Williams

Matt served full time for nine years as Youth Pastor and then 25 years as Associate Pastor at Tri-City Baptist Church. He was part of the college administration team at Northland International University before returning to the pastoral staff at Tri-City. He authored and co-authored two books dealing with ministry relationships and Biblical leadership. He regularly speaks throughout the country on staff relationships, leadership, and biblical worldview. For over 25 years, he has been both the Director and the Executive Director of Student Leadership Conferences. Matt and his wife, Donna, have been married for over 50 years and they have five children and 18 grandchildren.

Administrative Assistant

Tiffany Ollila

Tiffany attended Northland International University and earned a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education. She has experience in teaching Junior High and High School math, auditing, and reception work in the medical field. She joined the secretarial team in April of 2018. She assists our pastors, manages our online communications and media, and serves as the assistant director of Tri-City Christian Early Learning Center. Tiffany has two children.

Accounting Manager

Karen Stayer

Karen Stayer attended Grace College and earned a B.S. in Secondary Science Education. She has experience in teaching advanced science classes in the public high school and has participated in curriculum revision. Since 2005, she has served in various capacities at Tri-City, including her current position as the Accounting Manager. Karen and her husband, John, have three children and two grandchildren.

Facilities Coordinator

Luke James

Luke graduated from Heart of America Bible College with a B.S. in Christian Education while working as a Datacenter Operations Analyst at Hallmark Cards. He worked at Hallmark Cards for 37 years and has been a member of Tri-City Baptist Church for 28 years. He joined Tri-City’s ministry team during his retirement years. Luke and his wife, Cathy, have four children, 14 grandchildren, and one dog.

Preschool Director

Michelle Leigh

Michelle attended Raytown High School and then received a Cosmetology and Instructor’s Licenses from House of Heavlin Cosmetology School. She then earned her Child Development Associate from the Council for Professional Recognition. She has over 20 years of experience as a secular preschool teacher. After serving as the Assistant Director at Tri-City Christian Early Learning Center for four years, she accepted her current position. Michelle and her husband, Darrel, have two daughters and one dog.
