The Patenaudes: Missionaries to the Chinese

While serving in the US Air Force, Bob trusted Jesus Christ as Savior in Homestead, Florida. He led June to Christ the very same evening. God called Bob to preach the Gospel in February, 1978, during a series of revival meetings in south Florida led by Evangelist Lester Roloff. Bob prepared for the ministry through Open Bible College (Victory Baptist Church, Millbrook, Alabama). God called the Patenaudes into missions in 1987, at which time they began to prepare to go to work among the Chinese, arriving in China early in 1990 for their first term. The Patenaudes have seven children including Caleb, who went to Heaven from China in 1992. Their eldest son, Matthew, now serves with his wife and three sons in Mongolia. Their daughter, Liberty, was married last November to Amos Pranger, and they are preparing for missions work in Russia. Danielle, their eldest daughter, is now working in the school at Victory Baptist in Millbrook, Alabama.
